His experience there led him to Washington Square Bar and Grill where he honed his craft before opening Harry's on Fillmore. An instant success, Harry's laid the groundwork for moving into the Starlight Room at the top of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel in San Francisco where he affixed his name to the door 15 years ago. Gian DeCaro of DeCaro Sartoria Custom Tailors in Seattle wipes his nose with suits like these. A second generation tailor, Gian might seem abrasive or even dismissive to some. To his clients, some of the top executives at almost every major company you have ever heard of as well as elite athletes in baseball, football and basketball, don't mind. They just stand at the mirror and sip an espresso or a single-malt scotch and watch as Gian creates a bespoke work of art from fine silks, wools and cottons from Italy and Britain. These are suits and garments that make a statement. They are so fine, "you don't even need a woman," as Gian likes to say. Billy couldn't afford a suit, but he did get some advice from Gian on taking his own suit to the next level with a touch of color.

As Starbucks readies to celebrate its 40th anniversary, the company is embarking on a journey into new territory. The recently launched Starbucks Reserve™ line of coffees are rare and exotic single-origin coffees which are "curated to captivate the palates of coffee aficionados with taste notes that enchant and amaze." Billy had the chance to taste these unique coffees at the Starbucks concept store on East Olive Way and Summit Avenue in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle with Green Coffee Quality Manager Anthony Carroll. Needless to say, this ain't your Dad's old Starbucks.

After smoking the fish using fresh hay, the char is plated with, among other things, local pickled ramps, greens and wild huckleberries and topped with sour cream powder.
