Robert, sorry for being off topic here, but I've always wanted to ask you if you have an opinion on ice - when stirring, shaking, or its size and shape etc. And if so, will you be doing an episode regarding this topic.
Not sure if it is because I used a peat mossy scotch, but the equal parts recipe worked much better for my taste. I'll have to try with a blended or, in general, a less smokey scotch.
Good to see you squeezing again. I purchased the Chef'n juicer last spring, and loving it. I have only used one other type of squeezer, an OXO, that squirted more sideways than down. I don't think the Chef'n pro has squirted at all. Build quality appears to be excellent. I believe the downward force is greater, and more even than standard juicers, allowing for better juice extraction.
Robert, It's great you're tasting the drinks now, but what happened to sqeezing the limes and lemons? It was a nice touch for you to take the time to ensure quality. Not that you convey the opposite now, but....it was nice. Does that sound weird???? Anyway, great show!
The show is great and chit chat is fine, but we need to see some drinks and/or food prepared or whatever the topic of discussion is, being demonstrated.
This truly is a magnificent cocktail. Thanks for presenting it, Robert. After making this drink several times, for my taste, I find adding a touch of simple syrup creates a more balanced drink.
Regarding my earlier comment about adding simple syrup: Since making my own grenadine, as you showed Robert, I find it not necessary to add more sweetness. Perhaps the sugar content in my homemade grenadine is greater than that of the commercial product I was using.

I made this drink and tried it....to each his own.

Why are not all the episodes posted. Is it an ownership thing?
Robert, Where did you find that mixing glass? I've been searching forever for something similar. Great drink by the way.
