The recipe being used by Jeffrey is difford's 10:3:2 ratio. Actually Difford says that his 10:3:2 was perfected from Embury's 8:2:1. He used to believe 8:2:1 was the perfect one until he came up with this one concluding that:
10:3:2 is the perfect ratio for a white rhum based daiquiri.
8:2:1 is the perfect ratio for an aged rhum based daiquiri.
According to Difford then if you use El dorado you should be doing a 8:2:1. I haven't yet tried the difference, but anyway both ratios are for sure some of the best out there, giving you a delicious cocktail where the rhum stands out yet being very easy to drink and balanced.
Cheers Jeffrey, so glad to see you on Small Screen!
