I have not put much thought into low calorie drinks. This how to got me thinking from another angle.
I do not find it acceptable to follow the entire recipe. The juice of half a lime could mean 1/4 oz to 1 ounce. This was one of the first lessons I learned from Drink Boy.
Hello Henrik,
You are correct in the sense that half an average sized lime averages about 1/2 ounce. Personally, 1/2 ounce of limejuice works perfectly for me. Hence, I usually use 1/2 an average size lime. Sorry if that was not clear in the video.
I am a big believer in giving people tools - ie: basic recipe guidelines - and encouraging them to adjust to their own taste. In other words, if you prefer the drink with slightly more or slightly less lime juice, you should make the drink to suit your palate.
Thank you for commenting and for watching Inspired Sips!
