Denny Triangle Cocktail

By Jamie Boudreau

The Denny Triangle is a pre-gentrified area in Seattle near the Space Needle. It is dirty and funky but in it you can find fantasticly delicious hidden pleasures. Thus, this little enclave was the inspiration for the Denny Triangle Cocktail; it is a bit funky but absolutely delicious!

Recipe

Denny Triangle Cocktail

2 oz Beefeater Gin

3/4 oz Benedictine

1/4 Fernet Branca

2 oz grapefruit juice

Instructions

Shake with ice.

Strain into a cocktail glass.

Bitters bottles, shakers, mixing glasses, and spoons are from cocktailkingdom.com

The jigger is something I’ve never been able to find.

I’m off to go buy some Fernet!  Love the inclusion of grapefruit into some recent episodes, Jamie.  It’s such a great spring flavor that often gets overlooked here in Denver.
