Sangria Blanc

Summer is here! Savour the heat by quenching your thirst with a fortified Sangria Blanc. Nothing could be simpler than grabbing a pitcher, your favorite seasonal fruit, a nice white wine, gin and a tasty liqueur and mixing it up for your friends.
Recipe
Ingredients
1/2 bottle of white wine
2 oz St. Germain Eledflower Liqueur
1 oz Martin Miller's Gin
2 slices lemon
2 slices lime
seasonal fruit
Instructions
build in a pitcher full of ice adding liqueur last
stir, top with ice and more wine if necessary
serve in an ice filled goblet or Collins glass with fruit

St Germaine is always wonderful paired with a good sparkling. Also pear and apricot liqueurs work wonders as well. And with summer pepper season around the corner, there’s nothing wrong with throwing in a few good red chiles to spice it up and give it some character!
This looks delicious, def. making this at the next gathering where drinking will be involved.

I’ve found St. Germaine to be a great substitute for Triple Sec in punches. No wonder that it works in Sangria equally well.
