Tiki Time Cocktail

Thinking of tiki cocktails conjures up visions of rum, tropical fruits and exotic ingredients. There is no doubt that rum plays a leading role in the tiki cocktails of yesterday and today. That being said, many great tiki cocktails use gin as a base. Charlotte adds her Tiki Time cocktail to that list.

Recipe

Ingredients

2 oz Hendrick's Gin

3/4 oz orgeat syrup

3/4 oz fresh lime juice

3 oz coconut water

Instructions

shake with ice

strain into a Collins glass filled with ice

garnish with a cucumber slice and umbrella

Charlotte,

This is a great light Tiki style drink!  I particularly like coconut water which gives it body, but also keeps the sweetness down.
