How to Make Fruit Purees

Making seasonal fruit purees is a simple and easy way to bring color and amazing flavor a your cocktails and dishes. A Vitamix blender makes quick and handy work of a variety of fruits. Don't forget to use your creations in the Seasonal Lemon Drop!
Recipe
Ingredients
3 cups ripe fruit
1 oz lemon juice
1 - 2 oz simple syrup

Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Pulse for a few seconds then blend on high until nicely pureed.
Strain if desired.
Refrigerate or freeze.

HI - glad you all like the fruit puree videos! The simple syrup and lemon bottles are ones that i have had for many years. I like to collect unique bottles to put my cockail ingredients in. Antique ones are very cool - I keep my eye out for fun pieces at antique stores, garage sales, pottery barn etc.
